Nasutsa M. Mabwa
Nasutsa Mabwa is President of ServiceMaster By Simons, managing the strategic direction and operations of ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons, an MBE/WBE certified firm with the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois. Nasutsa brings an extensive background in real estate development and urban planning to ServiceMaster By Simons. She is focused on building the commercial and residential side of property restoration and construction business by nurturing and developing key real estate industry relationships.
Mabwa previously served as a Senior Project Manager for McCaffery Interests, a real estate development firm. At McCaffery, she managed Lakeside Development, a 589-acre mixed-use next-gen community on Chicago’s southeast side on the former U.S. Steel Southworks site. Before joining McCaffery, Mabwa worked for the City of Chicago as an Urban Planner and Director.
For all her achievements and involvement, Nasutsa was awarded the Women in Real Estate Bright Horizon Award in 2008 and was named one of Crain’s Chicago Business “40 Under 40 Class” of 2010. She is a 2015 Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program Graduate, and a 2015 Chicago Anchors For a Strong Economy/World Business Chicago Program Graduate.
Her firm, ServiceMaster By Simons, was awarded the “Rookie of the Year” award in 2015 for highest gross revenue for a new franchise, and the ServiceMaster© National Achiever Award in 2018 for continued upward sales growth and contributing to the restoration and recovery of commercial, residential and industrial residents in hurricane-ravaged states including South Carolina (Hurricane Matthew), Texas (Hurricane Harvey) and Florida (Hurricane Irma).
Currently, Nasutsa serves on the Advisory Board for the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate at Roosevelt University and on the Evanston Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee as Vice President and Board Member.
Mabwa also was honored as an Influential Women in Business 2017 by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and an Influential Woman in Business in 2018 by the Chicago Business Journal. In 2019, Nasutsa joined The Civic Federation, a non-partisan government research organization in Chicago and the State of Illinois as a Board Member.
Nasutsa holds two advanced degrees: a Master of Arts degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a Master of Business Administration degree with a real estate development concentration from Roosevelt University.
